Our International School Uniform Policy

General Rule

Students at our international school ICS Paris are required to wear a uniform when they are at school, in the vicinity of school, or on school outings.

• Uniform rules apply to ALL students regardless of age.
• In adherence to the French Government's guidelines for public middle and high schools, the display of symbols or clothing that overtly indicates a religious affiliation is not allowed
• All clothing must be in good condition, must fit properly, and must not reveal any undergarments.
• Ladies’ earrings are the only visible piercings allowed.
• The ICS Paris school uniform consists of a white shirt or polo shirt (short or long-sleeved), a cardigan or zipped polo jacket with the school logo, black shoes without any logo, a blue skirt, dress or trousers, and an ICS Paris sports kit for all PE classes. The kit includes a tracksuit, t-shirt, shorts, and sports jacket. 
• Extra items such as a polar jacket, apron, and lab coat are also available. 
• Students must buy school uniforms from our official website.

Aims and Objectives

Our international school uniform policy is based on the notion that a school uniform:
1. promotes a sense of pride in the school
2. engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school
3. is practical, easy to manage/prepare for the day, and smart
4. identifies students with the school
5. prevents students from coming to our international school in fashionable clothes that could prove distracting in class
6. makes students feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance
7. is regarded as suitable wear for school
8. is designed with health and safety in mind

The role of parents

The school asks all parents who send their children to our international school in Paris to support the school uniform policy. The international school ICS Paris believes that parents have a duty to send their children to school correctly dressed and ready for the school day. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child(ren) comply with this policy. There will be no exceptions.

The role of teachers and staff

Teachers and staff assist in enforcing the international school ICS Paris Uniform Policy. Staff and teachers retain the right to refuse students into their classrooms who do not comply with the uniform policy.

Acquiring school uniforms

The school and sports uniforms must be purchased from the international school ICS Paris supplier by the parents before the start of the school year.

We offer a pack composed of three white shirts, two sweaters and two pairs of trousers or two skirts for 310 euros. 

We also offer a sports kit composed of one polo, shorts, sweatpants and a running jacket for 135 euros.

Sports Uniforms

The sports uniforms must be purchased from the international school ICS Paris supplier by the parents before the start of the school year.

Order process

Option 1: Standard order
The order and payment will be made directly on Cognito platform. Payment to confirm your purchase must be completed online only. The items will be sent by the Company 3ma, a return label will be provided with the order. The order will be confirmed once online payment has been completed.

Option 2: Return for size change
You can return one or more items for an exchange. The order and payment will be made directly on Cognito platform. The items will be sent by 3ma, instructions on return procedure will also be provided (please note that return will be at your own cost). The item must be returned to 3ma in perfect condition, in its initial packaging. On receipt of the item, another package with the right size will be sent to you at our expense. Please note that only one change per order is permitted.

Option 3: Return for cancellation
The order and payment will be made directly on Cognito platform. The items will be shipped by 3ma, instructions for return procedure will also be provided (please note that return will be at your own cost). Once the item has been returned to 3ma in perfect condition, in its initial packaging, Globeducate will refund your payment to the credit card used for the purchase of one or all of the items ordered.

If the product or service delivered is not suitable, for whatever reason, the Buyer has a 14-day withdrawal period to return the order, starting from the date of receipt of the product(s). In the case of an order for several goods delivered separately or in the case of an order for a good made up of batches whose delivery is staggered over a defined period, the period runs from the date of receipt of the last good.
If the 14-day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it shall be extended to the next working day.
The product must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition, unmodified (unused, undamaged), accompanied by the corresponding invoice, as well as the corresponding return number, all by post only.
The return of the product is carried out without penalty, with the exception of the return costs, which remain the responsibility of the Buyer.
