INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) CURRICULUM FOR 3-19 YEAR-OLDS WITH ENGLISH AS THE LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION

We are dedicated to making a positive difference. We believe education should be fun, engaging and challenging. The IB Diploma Programme – with its broad and balanced curriculum from primary through pre-university – equips students with a globally-recognised qualification that will prepare them for their future at university or college.

ICS Paris has been teaching the IB Diploma Programme for over 15 years and is a is a Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that ICS Paris believes is important for our students.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).  Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit http://www.ibo.org

The International Baccalaureate (IB) was designed with “Education for a better world” in mind, which sits well with the ICS and Globeducate educational vision of preparing each student to become a global citizen who can shape the world.  It is a non-profit foundation motivated by its mission to create a better world through education

Comprising three age-targeted stages, this international curriculum takes an holistic approach to education, nurturing intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills. Our international schools work closely with the IB Organisation and our group-wide educational focus on teaching that impacts on learning, complements the IB programme’s aim, which is to teach students to think critically and independently, and how to inquire with care and logic.
