Student Council: Service in Action

Our Student Council members recently reached a major milestone in their mission to combat food insecurity. After weeks of hard work, the team visited Restaurant du Coeur, a local food distribution center, to see firsthand the impact of their fundraising efforts.

During their visit, the students were given a comprehensive tour by the manager. They observed the logistics of food distribution and had the opportunity to ask insightful questions about the center’s daily operations. This experience gave our learners a deeper understanding of:

How food is sourced and organized for those in need.
The specific ways their donated funds will be used to support the community.
The importance of dignity and care in charitable work.

Spreading Joy Beyond Food

The spirit of giving didn't stop at the food center. Following their tour, the students visited the Mairie to deliver toys remaining from their recent Toy Sale. These items will be featured in the Mairie’s own charity toy sale next week, ensuring that every donation finds a home and benefits a good cause.
