A Unifying Theme: Retro Gaming

This year’s theme, Retro Gaming, brought a nostalgic twist to the event. Drawing inspiration from iconic video games like Mario Bros, students were tasked with completing themed programming challenges using Lego™ Spike robots. Divided into elementary, middle school, and high school categories, teams had to combine logic, problem-solving, and creativity to succeed on specially designed challenge mats.

Connecting Beyond Borders

Thanks to a hybrid format, students from different countries were able to collaborate and learn from each other, whether on-site or online. The exchange of skills, cultures, and ideas helped make the event even more enriching for everyone involved.

Youth Leadership in Action

A standout aspect of the day was the involvement of student referees, who played a crucial role in ensuring the competition ran smoothly. These young leaders demonstrated professionalism and teamwork, embodying the values at the heart of Globeducate’s educational mission.
