Our second graders delivered a wonderful performance of their end-of-unit play, "Did I Get the Message?" yesterday. This production was the culmination of their learning about communication, and we are so proud of how the students shared what they've discovered.
We were delighted to welcome all the Grade 2 parents who joined us for this special event. Under the guidance of Mrs. Dempsey, Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher, the students worked incredibly hard to bring this production to life.
The weeks leading up to the play were buzzing with activity as students collaborated on creating props and transforming our space into a proper stage. From designing backdrops to crafting the smaller details that bring scenes to life, every child took ownership of an important role in the production process.
The behind-the-scenes work was just as valuable as the performance itself—students demonstrated remarkable teamwork, problem-solving, and the dedication it takes to bring a creative vision from page to stage. We couldn't be more proud of their effort and achievement!
