ICS Paris celebrates Manali Wakade, a dedicated student leader whose achievements span academic excellence, environmental advocacy, and social impact. From founding BioBudz and leading the school’s recycling club to supporting people experiencing homelessness through Les Amis de la Rue, Manali has demonstrated a strong commitment to creating positive change. After receiving offers from several top universities, including the University of Oxford, she will begin studying biotechnology at Institut Sup'Biotech de Paris in Fall 2026.
Celebrating Manali Wakade: A Dedicated Leader in Science, Sustainability, and Social Impact.
A student at ICS Paris since primary school, Manali has distinguished herself through her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to serving others. Passionate about life sciences, economics, and the role of technology in addressing global challenges, she has demonstrated exceptional aptitude, particularly in biology and chemistry.
Beyond her academic achievements, Manali founded BioBudz, an initiative aimed at raising student awareness of biodiversity conservation, and served as president of the school’s recycling club. She also played a key role in Les Amis de la Rue, a student-led NGO that distributes gourmet meals to people experiencing homelessness in Paris.
Having received offers from several prestigious universities in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, including the University of Oxford, Manali has chosen to pursue biotechnology studies at the Institut Sup'Biotech de Paris beginning in Fall 2026.
