Five ICS Paris Students Achieve 40 Points or Above in the IB Diploma 2026

ICS Paris is proud to celebrate five outstanding members of its Class of 2026 who each achieved 40 points or above in the May 2026 IB Diploma Programme examinations, a distinction reached by a small fraction of IB students worldwide this year.

Scoring 40 points or higher out of a possible 45 requires sustained excellence across all six subject groups, as well as strong performance in the Theory of Knowledge course and Extended Essay — components that demand independent research, critical analysis and sophisticated academic writing. Achieving this level of success is a clear marker of intellectual rigour, discipline and genuine passion for learning.

Jose Maria, who achieved an outstanding 43 points, reflected on his two years in the Diploma Programme:

"Achieving 43 points is something I'm incredibly proud of, but it wouldn't have been possible without the support of my teachers and the friends I studied alongside every day. The IB pushed me to think differently about every subject, and I feel genuinely prepared for what comes next."
