Extracurricular Activity Fair Gives Students a Taste of Summer Adventure

Today at ICS Paris featured an exciting afternoon for primary students as they embarked on ICS Paris's Extracurricular Activity Fair. The aftnoon of discovery movement and creativity showcase the wide range of opportunities available beyond the classroom, and gave students a fun preview of the experiences awaiting them at this year's Summer Camp.

Throughout the afternoon, children rotated through a variety of interactive activities from jumping hurdles and taking part in team challenges to practising yoga poses, students experienced the same spirit of exploration, determination, and collaboration that lies at the heart of the Summer Camp programme.

A Preview of Summer Camp

Running across three sessions from 29 June–3 July, 6–10 July, and 13–17 July, the ICS Paris Summer Camp invites children to travel the world without ever leaving Paris.

Through creative workshops, games, science experiments, art projects, filmmaking activities, and outdoor adventures, children explore cultures, stories, and ideas from around the globe while developing confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a bilingual environment.

Designed for children aged 3 to 12, the programme combines hands-on learning, outdoor play, collaborative projects, and team games. Activities are carefully adapted to each age group, ensuring that every child is challenged, engaged, and supported throughout their summer experience.

The camp also features bilingual creative programmes inspired by both American pop culture and French bandes dessinées. Through storytelling, costume design, character adventures, and imaginative games, children are encouraged to express themselves, build communication skills, and develop their creativity in a fun and supportive setting.

Inspired by the spirit of exploration found in the works of Jules Verne, this year's programme takes young adventurers on a journey across cultures, landscapes, myths, arts, and traditions through a series of exciting challenges and creative missions. The result is a uniquely international experience that combines discovery, learning, and fun.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

The Extracurricular Activity Fair also highlighted the broader range of enrichment opportunities available at ICS Paris throughout the academic year.

From the age of 3 through to 15, students can take part in a wide variety of extracurricular activities designed to nurture talents, develop new skills, and encourage personal growth. Current offerings include after-school activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, gymnastics, fencing, coding, ballet, self-defence, private piano lessons, French language lessons, technology clubs, robotics, and coding clubs.

These programmes reflect the school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education that extends beyond traditional classroom learning. Whether students are exploring a creative passion, developing athletic abilities, learning a new language, or building technological skills, extracurricular activities provide valuable opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

Partnerships That Enrich Learning

ICS Paris is also proud to work with a number of specialist partners who bring additional expertise and experiences to our students.

Through our partnership with ALNCY, students can benefit from immersive language-learning opportunities that build confidence and communication skills. Meanwhile, our collaboration with École Ducasse gives students access to culinary experiences inspired by professional chefs, introducing them to the world of gastronomy through hands-on learning.

These partnerships help broaden students' horizons and reinforce the international outlook that is central to life at ICS Paris.

A Wonderful Afternoon of Discovery

The Extracurricular Activity Fair was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore new interests, enjoy time with their peers, and experience the energy and creativity that define both our extracurricular programmes and Summer Camp.

A huge thank you to all the staff, activity leaders, and partners who helped make the afternoon such a success. Most importantly, thank you to our enthusiastic students, who embraced every challenge and activity with curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm.

We look forward to welcoming many of them back this summer for an unforgettable season of exploration, creativity, and adventure.
