Warm greetings and welcome to our international school in Paris, where students and teachers from all over the world come together, to create a unique multicultural learning community in the centre of Paris.
In our international Middle School the inquiry-based programme is centred around the learner, allowing each student to reach their potential in a challenging, supportive, friendly environment.
Our students become great communicators. We offer French classes at all levels from beginner to native speaker so that students can access the language of the country they call home. Our English as an Additional Language programme supports students whose first language is not English plus Japanese, Korean or Spanish are offered as second language options.
In a fast-changing world where digital skills are so important, our Grade 6 to Grade 9 students are provided with iPads to develop their digital literacy to enable access and use of technology. As an example of continuous change, our Design Technology lessons take place in our newly-equipped Fab Lab, where students can showcase their creative thinking and their ability to innovate making their ideas come to life.
International school events and the promotion of cultural differences and exchange are significant features of our international school. Through intercultural understanding and respect, educators and parents collaborate to develop balanced, principled students who care for each other’s well-being. This helps prepare our international school ICS Paris students for their future challenges in shaping a better world. Students have many opportunities to take part and lead clubs such as the Debating or Model United Nations (MUN), the Middle School choir and orchestra continues to flourish and students get many opportunities to participate in events such as the Globeducate Music Festival performing in front of an audience of over a thousand people.
Middle School is the springboard that leads to High School and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. We strive to give each student the best preparation for success in the Diploma Programme by putting them through the rigours of the IGCSE exams.
Our school is currently a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme.
