Our Curriculum

International programmes and learning

ICS Paris established its programmes in response to the growing need for education to reflect the future internationalization of our communities – a need that continues to exist in an ever-changing and globalized world.

Holistic education

ICS Paris is an accredited IB World School adhering to the highest academic standards of the IBO. The school offers the IB Diploma Programme, and is a candidate school for the IB Middle Years programme. The International Primary Curriculum is provided in primary school, ensuring an international outlook.

The IB was designed with “Education for a better world” in mind, which sits well with the ICS and Globeducate educational vision of preparing each student to become a global citizen who can shape the world.  It is a non-profit foundation motivated by its mission to create a better world through education.

Comprising four age-targeted stages, this international curriculum takes an holistic approach to education, nurturing intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills. Our schools work closely with the IB Organisation and our group-wide educational focus on teaching that impacts on learning complements the IB programme’s aim which is to teach students “to think critically and independently, and how to inquire with care and logic.”

ICS Paris uses technology, with Interactive Whiteboards in the classroom, to enhance teaching and learning. We also offer a one to one iPad programme in the Middle School and a vast array of digital resources throughout the school.

Students are active members of the community through the IB module of Community, Activity and Service (CAS) further broadening their education. Our IB Diploma students can take full advantage of our location in the heart of Paris to put their learning into an authentic context.
